AlpenglowPrints

I started AlpenglowPrints as an artistic project in order to challenge myself in the quarantined days of 2020! At the time the idea of creating a business or being a seller hadn’t yet entered my mind- I was simply creating imagery for my own home that I found intriguing and enjoyable, based on my favourite local places. It wasn’t until my friends began asking for pieces of their own that I began to conceive of the current version of AlpenglowPrints!

I’m a graphic designer by day, so I approach even more artistic projects like these through a defined process: paper thumbnail sketching, then blocking out the composition on Adobe Illustrator, finished with more digital design as I flit back and forth between Adobe Photoshop and Illustrator. My pieces are then printed locally in North Vancouver on high quality 80 pound matte paper.
