While St. Jean’s Seafood Cannery & Smokehouse in Nanaimo, B.C. is widely known for producing Pacific seafood for more than 50 years, its story as a family business starts back in eastern Canada, pre-World War 1.
Wicked Gourmet was created in 1998 by Barbara and Ellis Burrows with the sole purpose of bringing a range of delicious gourmet products directly to the consumer. Our products are available in gourmet stores and butcher shops.

The company’s preserves which include antipasto made In Canada have been sold in specialty and grocery stores for over 30 years. The mother-daughter team are known for their exceptional Antipasto’s and Red Pepper Jelly. Great care is taken in producing three generations of family recipes. Using local Ontario sourced produce whenever possible , each kettle of preserves is handmade from recipes of Catherine’s, her mothers, or grandmothers.
