Bella Hill Maple Syrup was founded in 2007 on the lower slopes of Nipissing Ridge just off Hwy 534, 7 km. west of Powassan on Bella Hill Road. Dan and Lori Costello had been making maple syrup on a small scale (150 buckets) for 20 years before deciding to make the big leap expanding to 1,900 taps and still growing! Tours are available on Weekends and Holidays from 10 am to 4pm during late March and early April. On Weekdays, call ahead if you want to be sure to catch the Costello’s!
