At Yukon Chocolate Company we take time and care to gather high quality raw cocoa from around the world, roast it and grind it ourselves right here in Yukon and let the flavour of minimally processed cocoa speak for itself. With that in mind we do our best to let the ingredients dictate their own fate, some batches of cocoa taste best left deep, dark and brooding – while others benefit from a bit of milk and sugar. While another might benefit from a bit of something silly – like coffee. Or sprinkles. We are bean-to-bar chocolate makers, meaning all our chocolates are made fresh from the raw cacao beans. Our cacao is roasted, winnowed, stone-ground, and tempered in our kitchen in Toronto, Ontario. Our cacao is sourced directly from communities in Oaxaca and Chiapas, Mexico for our products like chocolate drinks made in Canada.
