Our president, Michael Vokes of Vokes Furniture Inc, remembers how his grandfather, the late Thomas Vokes used to smell of sawdust and lacquer. Thomas built solid wooden cabinets for RCA Victor radios and televisions in Owen Sound, Ontario.
