Believe it or not it is difficult to find Hockey sticks made in Canada that are manufactured by Canadian owned businesses. Historically, Canada was a hot bead of activity in the hockey industry until American companies began buying up our businesses.
In addition to American companies buying up our Hockey product businesses, some have chosen to send their production over seas to ensure a bigger return.

The manufacturing process at Colt Hockey is labour intensive and incorporates Integran’s Intebond™ technology which adheres the Nanovate™ to the composite and also acts as an impact absorption layer. The Nanovate™ applied to the stick is only 0.002 inches thick, about the thickness of a layer of paint to minimize the added weight. For safety concerns, the stick has been designed so that it will still break when overloaded. The COLT is not “unbreakable”, but provides longer lasting, dependable performance. The COLT is proudly made in Canada at our facility conveniently located beside Pearson Airport in Toronto.
