I’m a glassblower and metalsmith, making objects through deliberate design and thoughtful creation. Motivated by material curiosity, I combine contrasting mediums to inform texture, pattern, colour and structure at Infinite Glassworks. With a balance between careful consideration and impulsive explorations, I give a voice to my craft through the language of my materials.
All products in my Sharon M For The Home shop are one of a kind. I feature restored, upcycled, and new products. Whatever I find, I fix and I sell. I build pieces inspired by other reclaimed pieces. I use tradional stained glass methods to create unique pieces using new and recycled glass. Each creation is one of a kind. I do not make two the same. It’s hard to say what’s going to show up in my shop. I work with a variety of items so I can never predict what I’m going to find. If I see the potential in something and I like it I use it. It’s as simple as that. Part of the home decor made in Canada directory.

What started out as a creative outlet for Amy in the hopes that it would allow her to stay home full-time after having our daughter quickly turned into more than what either of us could have imagined. It grew from Amy painting the signs with Will framing them after work, to Will teaching Amy how to run all the tools (eek!) to keep up with all the orders. Then the big step came in September 2017 when Will quit his job to join Amy full-time with Spring Meadow Co. It was a leap of faith, but one we are so happy we took and it’s definitely been an adventure ever since!

Paradise Hill Designs was created by Rick and Heidi Burtenshaw in 2002. They had moved to a rustic log home in the wilderness of Northern British Columbia, Canada where the post office is eight miles away and the nearest city, Prince George, B.C., is about a 90 minute drive away. Rick started to build furniture for their house, using simple tools and barnwood they had found on the property. A passion for designing and creating took over: Rick handcrafting a beautiful woodworking shop, and Heidi sketching original designs of functional home décor and trying her hand at woodburning and painting.
As they streamlined their production, the process took shape. The first step was the reclaiming of aged wood in the surrounding area, which most often required dismantling dilapidated fences. The wood was then brought into the shop where Rick removed any nails and left the boards to dry. They made all their own designs; sometimes it was just a pencil sketch of an idea, most times it was hands on the wood right away. The designing and production involved a lot of quiet listening and being ‘in the flow’.

I’ve always been creative. I love baking, cooking, and creating. When I had my first child being at home was wonderful but I itched for something for just me and that`s when I got back into crafting! Being a stay at home mom I see the importance of carving time for me, in creating. In 2011 I decided to try my hand at a yarn wreath for a gift for my mother in law, everyone loved it and I loved making it! That Christmas everyone got a yarn wreath from me! From there I started getting orders! After many suggestions from friends to open an etsy store I made the leap and I am so happy with the success! My dream is to have my wreaths hanging on doors all over the world!
