Opened more than 30 years ago, the Alpine Bakery is one of the oldest food establishments in the Yukon. We are much more than a bakery offering artisanal bread and pastries. We also offer delicious fresh meal options, beverages, and homemade goods. The bakery is run as a social enterprise. Our vision includes promoting and encouraging social and environmental well being, as well as social change.
For us, this change starts with organic food, and the promotion of local organic farms. Furthermore, we know that having a small footprint in the North is difficult, but we try in many ways: working toward zero waste, using quality local ingredients as much as available, printing promotional materials on 100% recycled paper, using only environmentally friendly cleaning products, and much more!
