Charlo Miellerie Honey is an agricultural company, more precisely in bee-keeping. It operates 170 ±hives. It collected 12,000 lbs honey in 2009 and transported, (100) hives for pollination of the blueberry crops in the Acadien Peninsula and in the Renous area. The company owns 9 acres of property, all of the equipment and the apiarian material, all of the buildings, a woodworking workshop, a honey house as well as a vault for the hibernation of 300 beehives. The company has also equipment for the production of mead(honey wine).
The owner has 29 years of experience as a beekeeper, he is a member of the board of directors (New Brunswick Beekeeper Association) he is also the inspector into agricultural for the north of the province. It operated four hundred and fifty (450) hives of bees and pollinized the canola fields for the Adventa Seeds Company from Alberta in Drummond N-B. The owner is presently retired after twenty-nine years (29) of teaching at Aux Quatres Vents High School in Dalhousie NB, he holds a bachelor degree in Industrial teaching.
