At Cosy Feet Rugs and More, most of my rugs are made from new acrylic yarn or t-shirt yarn. I make the t-shirt yarn by cutting the t-shirts into strips and stretching it. It makes a nice thick rug and is eco friendly. Lately I have been using a lot of new cotton yarn and it is becoming a new favourite. I’m now using NEW store bought T-shirt yarn to make rugs and wall hangings. I will let you know in the write up if it is NEW or upcycled t-shirt yarn.
My husband Steve has joined my shop and is wood burning plaques and signs. Recently he has started making planters and candle holders from driftwood that washes up on the shores of the Okanagan Lake in British Columbia were we live.
