Originally from the Estrie, more precisely from Marbleton, Etienne Bolduc Luthier already had a very young interest in music and in meticulous things. From 4 years, the harmonica attracts him, then the piano, saxophone and guitar will enliven his love for music. He studied violin making at Cégep Limoilou in Quebec, where he spent 3 years. His passion will be growing with the violin making, where he will learn the basics of manufacturing, repair and restoration. Finishing in 2001, he worked in various fields, while touching the violin in his spare time, before officially launching himself as a self-employed lutherie in 2008. The passion is still as strong as it was at the beginning. is always looking for personal challenges, either in creation or in repair. Conscientious of his environment, it promotes and researches local and indigenous lutherie woods wherever possible. The creation of personal models is at the heart of his current concerns.

He became the reference luthier for music-focused schools, Parchemin in East-Angus in 2008 and Sacré-Coeur in Sherbrooke in 2009. He works mainly on violins, cellos, double basses and bows, but he also repairs guitars and other stringed instruments.
