The original idea for Generational Design Works came to Les while living in the outback of Australia in the early 1980’s. However, he was too busy sheep farming and starting a family to pursue the idea at the time. In 2016, he revisited the idea and approached his children about starting a business.
After some brainstorming we decided to go all in and our vision was born. Our company name encompasses a double meaning, for the Generations of family involved in the business and because our hope is that your timepiece will become an heirloom, passed down the generations to come.
