Our Hearts & Roots land and plant food crops are certified organic. So, no synthetic fertilizers, pesticides, fungicides or herbicides. We don’t even use organic approved biological pesticides. We use animal integration and lots of cover crops to limit our inputs. We practice managed grazing and all our lamb is grass fed and finished and so is the wool for that matter. Our chickens and geese are also pastured in season and moved daily. Our farm is currently 20% annual and 80% perennial. There’s so much more to it, but there are the faqs.
