Hnatiuk Gardens is a third-generation market gardening farm in East St. Paul, Manitoba, just 10km North East of Winnipeg. We focus on sustainable farming methods and promoting biodiversity with permaculture systems thinking. Currently we grow over 40 varieties of fruits and vegetables for our spray-free CSA (Community Shared Agriculture) program.

Our CSA program has grown incredibly over the 6 years of us starting it, and we are incredibly grateful. Since deciding to shift from large-scale wholesale operations to more sustainable methods, we couldn’t be happier with the support we have received for doing so. We’ve converted an entire acre behind the homestead to a system of permanent beds and adopting low to zero-till practices. As of 2019, Hnatiuk Gardens is single-use plastic free, and we use only compostable alternatives for our packaging.
