House Of Crete – Like many, my journey as an artisan began during the pandemic. As gyms all over Montreal shut down, the price of gym equipment skyrocketed. A lot of people were having trouble finding gym equipment at an affordable price. To help people maintain their fitness habits and sanity without breaking the bank, I produced concrete dumbbells at a fraction of the cost of traditional metal dumbbells. After gyms reopened and there was no longer a need for my only product, I took advantage of the experience I earned working with concrete to make something a little more unique: a concrete chess set. To this day, I still make concrete chess sets for people all over North America. My current goal is to expand my craftsmanship with this material and offer a variety of beautiful products for peoples homes.
