Inkspoon clothing is made in BC Canada. Our garments are sewn in small, limited edition batches from quality sustainable fibers . The fabric is ethically sourced and certified to meet Oeka-Tex Standard 100, which insures no harmful chemicals are used at any stage of the process, as well as Global Organic Textile Standard which guarantees environmental and social responsibility. We only work with environmentally friendly inks, dyes and solvents. Every piece is printed by our own hands with care and intention.
Inkspoon is the creative brain child of Lauren and Blake Wylder. The project was founded in 2006 while Blake and Lauren were completing studies at Emily Car Institute of Art and Design. The garments and artwork are designed in-house, although we do have a small net-work of amazing artists we call upon to contribute their creativity. The garments are sewn up in small batches by two teams of seamstresses in Vancouver and Nelson, BC, Canada. Each garment is then hand printed in a limited edition series in our home/studio on Salt Spring Island, BC.
