Landon Peters Art – Landon Peters was born in Saskatoon and though he has lived for a time in Vancouver, in Seattle and in Los Angeles. Presently he teaching drama and art in Yellowknife. While in Vancouver, Landon studied at the Emily Carr College of Art and Design; in Seattle, he attended Shoreline College; in Los Angeles, he earned a degree from the American Academy of Dramatic Arts; his degree in Education was earned in Saskatchewan. He has appeared in various film and television projects. Furthermore in Yellowknife, he has produced various musicals including “Saturday Night Fever”, “Grease”, “Footloose”, “West Side Story” and “The Little Mermaid”.

Landon has always had a strong interest in the visual arts. He experimented with various media early in high school and college. In the summer of 2000 he began a conscious effort to focus on and explore subject matter pertaining to rural Saskatchewan. Since his move to the North in 2002, he has been challenged by the rugged northern imagery in and around Yellowknife.
