It is Jake’s belief that a piece should not only look beautiful and harmonious from across the room, but should also offer more to discover the closer you get. Some details can only be felt when running your hands over the piece, and others may be discovered by surprise after living with it for some time. This philosophy had a tremendous impact on his approach to furniture building.
