The Négondos vineyard located in the beautiful region of Deux-Montagnes, is the first organic vineyard in Quebec. The germ of this passion began almost 30 years ago when the couple Plante and Desrochers decided to make wine with Californian grapes. It’s the beginning of the adventure! First, the desire to produce wine with its own grapes, then exploratory approaches with French and Quebec winemakers, participation in the Association des vignerons du Québec as friendly members and several other concrete actions that will allow the dream to come true. It was in 1993, after several years of research, that land previously expropriated, fallow and woven with rocks was finally acquired. It is with enthusiasm and determination that the couple is committed to reviving this terroir.
