I use mainly reclaimed fabrics which are the only 100% sustainable materials as they have already been manufactured and require no energy, transport or resources. When I can’t use reclaimed, I choose bamboo or other eco-textiles. Upcycled also means that every item I create is one-of-a-kind which is a rare treat in this age of mass production. I began developing the collection in 2012 as a side project while I ran my family business, Paradise Boutique. In 2016 we sold the shop after 12 years and I began to focus on designing clothing full time. Ola combines my passions for vintage style, fashion, thrifting, creativity and a desire to make a positive impact on the environment.
