Welcome to our mandolin family of instruments at Proulx Guitars and Mandolins! All mandolins feature high grade, solid woods throughout, stainless steel frets for unmatched wear and smooth playing, a slightly shorter than standard scale length of 13-3/4″(unless the +2 option is chosen), custom handmade bridges, elevated pickguard/finger rest, and a 2 piece tailpiece with custom, matching wood cover some photos show the older, all metal tailpieces which we no longer use). Available with the usual combinations of flamed maple and spruce, endless other wood combinations can also be had; all you have to do is ask!
In addition to Mandolins, all guitars feature high grade, solid woods throughout, stainless steel frets, Waverly tuners, a 25.5″ scale length, bone nut and saddle (long “through” drop-in saddle design, choice of adjustable or solid truss rod, and custom cast pickguards. From there, each model will have its own specific features, most of which can and will be custom tailored to the player’s needs, and as a player myself, I will help you along with each decision to ensure we both reach or goals.
