Edgerton, Alberta is a small village with a population of just around 400 (depending on the day) located in east central Alberta and home to Ribstone Creek Brewery. The story begins during Edgerton sports days, an annual summer event in our community. Don, Chris, Cal and Al recognized the growing demand for high-quality, Alberta-made craft beer and saw an opportunity to create a unique, thriving business in the area they grew up in.
After some in-depth market research and extensive discussion with community leaders, the decision was made to turn the Ribstone Creek Brewery dream into reality. The founders sought community investment and purchased a historical building on main street Edgerton — a former tractor dealership that had served area farmers for generations.
