Our Ried’s Distillery family has always loved a good challenge. Something about a new experience or conquering what was once thought impossible has been driving us for as long as we can remember. Starting the Distillery is our biggest challenge yet and we’re excited to be conquering it as a family.
So why gin? Our family is originally from the UK and we’ve been fortunate to travel back and forth quite a bit. Over the last decade, we have seen an explosion of the craft gin scene across the pond. With each return trip to Canada, we always maximized our duty-free allowance, though we continued to miss the creative ‘gindustry’ thriving overseas.
