Union Libre Cidre & Vin is established in Dunham, in the Brome-Missisquoi region. The region has long been recognized for the quality of its land as well as its microclimate favorable to the cultivation of apple trees and vines.
Located on the Appalachian foothills dominating the plain of the St-Laurent at an altitude of 150 meters, the ground on the free ground is composed of slate and shale. Its gentle slope favors the drainage of cold air in spring and autumn. Its composition stores a maximum of heat which diffuses after dark. The slope nevertheless requires the grassing of the alleys in order to avoid soil erosion during heavy rains.
