Truth be told, this whole ride at Upstreet Craft Brewing really started years ago when Hogie brewed his first batch of beer. He kickstarted an obsession back in 2006 that would drive him to create hundreds of batches, brewed in kitchens, barns, backyards and basements; some great ones, some “interesting” ones, and some crazy ones. Many people have tasted Hogie’s homebrews over the years, and his party trick became something of a local legend.
