The Wheatley’s Raspberries family run business is the best place on the Island to get your berries.
We ask that customers bring their own containers for transporting their berries home. We supply 2 litre (4 pint) containers for easy picking and pricing. After paying for your berries, transfer your berries to your own containers to take home and enjoy. Some mornings it is best to start a little later, to allow the dew to dry off of the plants. This makes for a more enjoyable experience.
Ripe berries should be easily pulled from the branch. If you find the stems are still attached to the berries, then they are not ripe yet. For red raspberries, ripe berries range from reddish-orange to almost scarlet in colour depending on the variety.
