Koliako Boarding Kennel – I have always loved animals and we had a wide variety of pets. Cats, birds, bunnies, turtles, hamsters, hedge hogs and of course dogs. I raise rough and smooth collies. My passion besides my grandchildren. Hayden, Cohen, Lane, Chasey and Lily is a love of raising collies. I love doing performance with them. We do Rally, Agility, Nose work and Confirmation in the Show ring. My dogs have earned many titles and I believe strongly in positive training. I have taken many classes and training seminars locally.
It was time to move out of Rossland due to my husbands disability and the snow load being just to much to manage. I have always had a strong bond and love for animals, especially dogs. I use the same philosophies with dogs as I did with children. I do not allow practicing of unwanted behaviours such as barking relentlessly at another dog making them feel intimated. I never make a dog feel trapped when they are uncomfortable. I have experience with dogs of all breeds, sizes, and temperaments. I only do individual care and do not mix client dogs. Positive reinforcement is our motto.
