Laminate flooring made in Canada is a very difficult product to find. If you know of any Canadian made laminate flooring please forward the information so I can add them to the site.
Canadian Made Laminate Flooring
Mono Serra Group is a premiere Canadian flooring materials manufacturer, distributor and wholesaler that is at the forefront of the home improvement industry. By providing good quality products – tiles, laminates and hardwood floors – at attractive and extremely competitive prices, we continue to make a great impact in the North American marketplace.
Innovation and modern European production technology were brought to North America when Uniboard opened the first fully integrated particleboard and TFL manufacturing facility in 1982. Located in Sayabec, Quebec, the Sayabec mill started with a state-of-the-art particleboard line and two TFL presses. Total production capacity at the time was 130 million square feet of particleboard and 60 million square feet of TFL. In 1987 Uniboard opened Canada’s first MDF mill with North America’s first continuous MDF press in Mont-Laurier, Quebec, putting the facility at the leading edge of technology. Mont-Laurier capacity adds 50 million square feet of MDF product to Uniboard’s portfolio.
This company is not owned in Canada so is not listed in the business directory. I have added it here because laminate flooring made in Canada is very hard to find.
