Dr. Richard Sioufi of MTL CIRC received his medical degree from McGill University in 1992. He completed his training in urological surgery at McGill University in 1997 and received his specialist diploma in urology from the Quebec College of Physicians and the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada.
He started his urology practice in Florida in 1997 for a period of 4 years. He then started his practice at the Anna-Laberge Hospital in Chateauguay in January 2001 and has been head of the urology department since then. He has 20 years of experience specializing in adult circumcision and baby circumcision. In addition, he specializes in diagnosing prostate cancer using MRI ultrasound target fusion biopsy.
Dr. Sioufi practices as a general urologist with a specific interest in the treatment of incontinence by simple incision under local anesthesia. He treats cases of urinary lithiasis and benign prostatic hypertrophy with laser. He also treats prostate and bladder cancer. He also performs ultrasound with prostate biopsies, vasectomies, vasovasostomies and circumcisions.
