The first Canadian Paderno plant was opened on Prince Edward Island in 1979 and continues to produce cookware there today. The plant is part of the cultural and industrial landscape of the island and the brand is recognized worldwide as a leading manufacturer of quality cookware. The brand which was born as a cookware manufacturing company was sold to Canadian Tire in 2017. The manufacturing and wholesale operations were then purchased by Meyer who is another Canadian cookware manufacturer that has been providing Canadians with Cookware since 1979.
What sets their products apart is the exceptional craftsmanship with which they’re made. The collection is continually improved and evolved to keep up with cooking trends and new technologies. Most recently, a magnetic stainless steel layer was added to the bottom of all of our pots and pans. From our beginnings in Prince Edward Island, we have provided our customers with some of the finest cookware found anywhere in the world. We take the time and care that’s needed to make sure every product we offer delivers outstanding durability and performance, to fuel your passion for cooking.
The brand itself does not have a specific location to purchase their cookware from. Their products are sold through Canadian tire however can be found in other retail locations as well.
Most of the Paderno products are designed in Canada, and select cookware products are proudly manufactured in Prince Edward Island. Even though the website does not sell their products, the ones that are actually made in Canada can easily be found on the made in Canada page through the site.
