In March 2014, the Fedosoff’s purchased this wonderful riverfront property which not only included a beautiful home but an established APPLE ORCHARD, Petrofka Orchard. We were shocked, along with many others, that full-size tasty apples can successfully be grown in Saskatchewan. In four short years, we have expanded our product line (approximately 50 now), renovated the country store, purchased a clay oven, started offering weekend, school and group tours and further improved the land to include over 1.5 km of beautiful walking trails and riverfront picnic area for all to enjoy. Driven by his passion and love for cured meats, Mike McKenzie began selling his exquisite products through his company, Seed to Sausage. After travelling the World for the Canadian military, Mike acquired a taste for quality artisanal meats. Upon returning to Canada Mike saw a demand in the market for deliciously, healthy salami and sausages. He began studying and working alongside chefs and sausage makers throughout Europe before opening his business in 2011. In 1985, in the small town of Waldheim, SK, Aunt Kathy’s Homestyle Products was born. We focused on making natural home-made baking, pizza, subs, traditional perogies, cabbage rolls and more. As business grew by word of mouth, local store owners became interested in selling our traditional perogies.
