Winkler Plumbing & Heating Ltd. opened in 1974 as a basic service shop in the previous owner, Abe Kauenhofen’s, garage. As Abe built up his reputation around town, he was able to expand his services, upgrade his shop, and help more and more people every day. Current owner Henry Schmitt joined the company in 2006, became a shareholder in 2008, and took over the business in 2021 as the previous partners retired and/or moved on from the plumbing business.
Today, we offer a wide range of knowledge and experience, striving to provide the best service possible by getting to know each one of our customers. We are the longest-serving plumbing company in Winkler, and always motivated to improve what we do. We offer our services to clients across the province, as far as the Saskatchewan border to the west and throughout Northern Manitoba.
